Citroen launches special edition Connected models

Citroen Motors Ireland has introduced a new special edition ‘Connected’ range, which it says is designed especially for the Irish market. The Connected Editions are available for the Citroen C3, C4, and C5. Citroen say that all models feature impressive additional specification as standard, at great value prices starting at just €14,995.

Citroen executives told the Advertiser that their C3 Connected Edition, priced from €14,995, offers unbeatable value in the supermini segment. It points to a truly spacious interior packed full of useful equipment including Bluetooth, air con, USB connector, front fog lights, and gear efficiency indicator as standard.

And they add that efficiency is at the heart of C3 Connected Editions thanks to Citroen’s new puretech VTi 82 petrol engine with 107g CO2 (annual road tax €190 ), or their economical HDi 70 diesel achieving 99g CO2, that qualifies for Band A2 (annual road tax of €180 ) and dramatically improves fuel economy.

Citroen says that their top selling model, the C4 with a starting price at €19,995 combines refined elegance and fantastic value into one package. There’s the sophisticated design and the HDi 90 diesel manual engine that makes it highly efficient offering 64 mpg. With an impressive standard specification that includes cruise control and air con, C4 also includes Bluetooth and USB connectivity, stylish 16” alloy wheels and front fog lights.

The third line is the Citroen C5 Connected Edition, starting at €26,995. Citroen says that it mixes emotional and rational thinking perfectly. A contemporary and dynamic design plus 16” alloys present a powerful road presence with everything you see on the outside matched by state of the art ingenuity on the inside. A driver-focused cabin provides Bluetooth, eMyWay Satellite Navigation and air conditioning while driving is more enjoyable thanks to cruise control, rear parking sensors, 16” alloys, and economical HDi 115 diesel engine. The C5 Connected Edition also includes front fog lights and chrome window sills as standard.

Fredéric Soulier, managing director of Citroën Motors Ireland, told the Advertiser: “We are thrilled to introduce the exciting new Connected Edition range that are available exclusively to the Irish market. These models are already proving to be a popular choice with our customers, as these Connected models offer our customers more specification, more efficiency and most importantly, more value.”
