Impressions, an art exhibition by the View Point Centre in Ballinasloe will take place today, Friday December 5. Featuring prints, paintings, and collages the exhibition will be held in the Emerald Ballroom, Ballinasloe.
The View Point Centre is a Ballinasloe based, Brothers of Charity centre for adults with learning difficulties. The Brothers of Charity services in Ballinasloe are known for their commercial printing among other things and many of the exhibitors have had a background in this area.
This event will see the first ever exhibition of printed art works by Brothers of Charity clients in Ballinasloe. The exhibition, which is the work of 10 artists, and also includes paintings and collages, has been jointly funded by the Brothers of Charity Services Galway, The Galway County Council’s Art Section, and The Ballinasloe Credit Union.
