Jean Farrell’s play The Six Marys, full of memories and melodies played to a full house in Dun Laoghaire recently after a group of people heard about the success of the play in Athlone and invited the group to present the play in Dun Laoghaire.
The one woman show is returning to Athlone Little Theatre, on January 15 and 16, due to phenomenal demand.
Written and performed by Jean Farrell, with musical accompaniment by Luan Tunes, this production is a light-hearted reflection on life’s journey from childhood to the present day. Well known hits, from the various eras, provide a fitting soundtrack to this play which is both amusing and thought provoking.
Appealing to audiences of all ages, we follow the lives of six Marys as they search for their Mr Wonderful, settle into married life, and rear their children.
The play will be presented in Athlone Little Theatre on Tuesday January 15 and Wednesday January 16 nightly at 8.30pm. Admission is €10 and proceeds go towards the Little Theatre building fund. Early booking is advised. For more information call (086 ) 3899026.
