The humble sea mussel could provide relief to sufferers of a wide variety of ailments, from asthma, and arthritis to multiple sclerosis, according to some leading world health authorities. This is thanks to a simple product called Lyprinol, which has been described as the miracle from the sea, and which has been proven to be a powerful anti-inflammatory. It comes with none of the side-effects commonly associated with traditional fish oils, steroids, or prescription anti-inflammatory medicines. Lyprinol comes from the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel. Lyprinol is said to be 200 to 300 times more effective than other fish oils and flax seed. It is thought to be as effective as some prescription anti-inflammatory medication.
Recently in a clinical trial conducted at the West Glasgow Hospital University NHS Trust, both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis patients showed a significant improvement after using Lyprinol, with 76.7 per cent of rheumatoid and 70 per cent of osteoarthritic patients benefiting from the trial.
