Well, now you can try to imitate the professional performers who execute those moves with such apparent ease! Mullingar Arts Centre have several exciting new initiatives for adults and children alike, launching this week.
Ballroom and Latin dancing are two of the styles in which great interest has grown, mainly as a result of the enormous popularity of programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. So, this is your chance to realise those dreams of dancing excellence; ballroom dancing classes, under the direction of Aimee McManus, will take place on Monday nights, starting from September 17, from 7.30-8.30pm. A six-week course costs €40 and should have you raring to go come the Christmas party season!
The Zumba programme fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves. A fitness programme suited to everyone - young and young-at-heart! In 90,000 locations in 110 countries around the world, with 10 million participants every week, the global phenomenon that is Zumba fitness is now available at the Mullingar Arts Centre every Monday night, from 7.30-8.30pm. Burn off up to 600 calories under the guiding hand of Nessa Reilly while having the most fun you have ever had working out! €40 is all it will cost for each six-week period and, as with the ballroom/Latin dancing, you could be ready to unveil the new you just in time for year-end festivities!
