Crow Black Chicken at the Prince of Wales

If you enjoy Led Zeppelin, Rory Gallagher, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, then you should definitely check out Crow Black Chicken who will be playing at 9pm on Friday August 3 in the Prince of Wales Hotel, Athlone. The trio of musicians are currently being promoted by Play Your Tune, an online radio show dedicated to promoting local music and art talent, as well as local events throughout Ireland.

Crow Black Chicken, who were established in 2009, have been taking the music industry by storm in the last two years, both in Ireland and abroad. Their unique style is a fusion of their varied musical pasts, combining jazz blues, punk, and folk rock into an original and exciting style which has seen them play over 100 shows in the last year alone. Participating in several major European festivals, including a performance on the BBC stage at Glastonbury, they are developing their reputation and experience very rapidly.

Their debut album, Electric Soup has received many glowing reviews from critics nationwide, and they have been credited as having a fantastic live performance. They will be supported on the night by spin off DJ winner Tivo, and local Athlone band The Orphans of Society, both of which guarantee a great performance.
