Johnny Cronin & The Aftermath return from ‘The Rockier Road to Poland’ with a new line-up, live dates, and festival appearances over the next few months to promote their new single ‘In Loneliness Lives Love’.
Some highlights include supporting good friend Bressie at his sold out Dublin Academy date, Mullingar’s Garden Festival at Danny Byrnes, with special guest comedian Joe Rooney from Father Ted and Killinaskully, and the Cronin brothers return home gig at The Marquee in Drumlish festival in July.
The song ‘In Loneliness Lives Love’ available to download now also features Steve Wickham (The Waterboys ) on violin, Helen Turner (Paul Weller ) on keys, Tosh Flood (Pugwash ) on guitar and vocals, Ger McDonnell on vibes, Karl Odlum (The Frames ) on piano, and Daire O’Reilly and John Halnon on brass.
The video was directed by Marc Corrigan who also directed the award-winning Ant video for Ham Sandwich.
Johnny Cronin & The Aftermath play the Global Village at Volvo Ocean Race Galway on Friday July 6; Danny Byrnes, Mullingar (with special guest Joe Rooney ) on Sunday July 8; and The Marquee, Drumlish on Sunday August 19.
