The who’s who of the wedding industry are coming to Athlone on Sunday June 24 from 3-5pm to share their secrets for the perfect wedding at Radisson Blu Hotel.
With TV3’s Lorraine Keane hosting the event in the stylish waterfront hotel, brides-to-be will be treated to tips on how to ensure their big day is all they imagine it to be.
Brides- and grooms-to-be and their guests will be welcomed with drinks in the stylish surrounds of the hotel’s Marina Suite. Later, delicious mini-samples of the delectable food you could have at your wedding, specially prepared by head chef Philip O’Reilly who has 17 years’ experience creating exceptional wedding food, will be served. The tasty samples will include chicken and smoked duck terrine, tomato and smoked bacon soup with roast lemon and fresh basil, pan-seared sea bass with wild mushroom sauce, and delicious sweet treats.
Make-up guru Ken Boylan, make-up artist to the stars, (including Pamela Flood, Grainne Seoige, Victoria Smurfit, Lorraine Keane, Amy Huberman, Miriam O’Callaghan, Mischa Barton, and Minnie Driver ), will demonstrate the secrets to an impeccable face using products from his brand new make-up range.
Travel writer Fionn Davenport will give valuable insights into exotic and interesting locations for that once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon.
Multi award-winning photographer Owen O’Connor will tell you the poses that work to help you look your best and the style of photography that will suit your special day, as well as advice on that ideal photogenic location.
There will also be stunning designer bridal gowns to lust over!
