Athlone Institute of Technology is currently recruiting for the New Frontiers Enterprise Programme 2012 commencing in July. Participants should have an innovative business idea with growth and export potential.
New Frontiers is an Enterprise Ireland funded business development programme that provides entrepreneurs with the business skills, networks, facilities, and supports necessary to navigate the business start-up process. Participants will receive a six month €15,000 salary support from Enterprise Ireland.
According to Ann Marie Durkin, CEO of Shasta, a former Enterprise Programme participant and recent Enterprise Ireland ‘High Potential Start-Up’, “As a start-up company, the programme provided us with comprehensive business support. If you have an innovative business idea, AIT provides a ready-made R&D capability to develop your product while New Frontiers will support you in developing your business and bringing your product to market.”
According to Michael Lonergan, manager of the Midlands Innovation and Research Centre at AIT, “If you are a prospective entrepreneur with an innovative business idea, New Frontiers 2012 will provide you with the business skills and support necessary to transform your idea into a successful business.”
