After the huge success of their first four gigs as the new house band playing to a packed house in Cooneys Hotel, Ballymahon, The Sheerin Family Country Band have decided to continue with a regular gig on the last Monday of every month.
The Sheerin Family have formed a full seven piece band and are performing again on Monday May 28 in Cooney’s Hotel in Ballymahon. The show starts at 10pm and admission is free.
You will already know each member of this band from playing in your local pub, dance hall, or nightclub. Finally The Sheerin Family has gotten together for the first time ever to play good country music.
The band consists of seven family members out of 11. The family members include: Paul on steel guitar, Dessie on bass, Danny on vocals and acoustic guitar, Kieran on piano, Tom on fiddle, Simon on drums, and Carmel on vocals and acoustic guitar. Their unique sound and crisp harmonies will leave the hairs standing on the back of your neck.
A great night is in store on May 28 and you never know who you might spot in the crowd from the Irish entertainment world.
