The Aftermath are pleased to announce details of Shane MacGowan, The Aftermath & Friends new single, “The Rockier Road to Poland” which will be released on Live Transmission Records as a limited edition CD and download from Friday May 4.
Along with Shane MacGowan, Johnny and Mick Cronin, and The Aftermath band the song features Shane’s good friends from Nenagh, Tom Creagh and accordionist Rachel Ray; Fr Ted comedian Joe Rooney; traditional Irish music legend Mick McGoldrick; Matt McManamon from The Dead 60s; all Ireland champion accordionist Sean Gavaghan; and Duncan Paterson.
The Aftermath will also be playing some live dates this summer including the Festival of the Fires on Saturday May 5 and Hype Fest, Longford, on Saturday May 19.
