Theatre enthusiasts in Athlone are in for a real treat this weekend, when international ballet stars will be gracing the stage of the Dean Crowe Theatre on Saturday March 30 and Sunday April 1.
Leighton Morrison and Judith Sibley will be guest starring with The Shannon Dance Academy in their production of Swan Lake. Tchaikovsky’s timeless classic will be brought to life by the talented students of The Shannon Dance Academy. There is a full corps de ballet of twenty swans, presenting the infamous white acts, in one of the world’s best loved classical ballets.
Prestigious ballet artiste, Judith Sibley has performed in Britain, Germany, Belgium, and the USA as well as extensively throughout Ireland. Her gifted dance partner Leighton Morrison, has also performed worldwide in some of the world’s most renowned ballet companies including English National Ballet.
