The latest designs unveiled by fashion and glasses guru Gok Wan have arrived at Specsavers in Athlone and Mullingar. The GW by Gok Wan range is designed personally by Gok and sold exclusively at Specsavers stores for €149. The glasses build on the retro-inspired look of the original collection, which launched in February last year.
Speaking about his latest frames collection Gok Wan said: “I can’t wait for the people of Athlone and Mullingar to see my brand new designs. As with the original collection, I’ve looked to the past for inspiration and drawn style cues from the 50s and early 60s. Cats’ eyes shapes and coloured acetates take centre stage, adding a touch of vintage-chic to the discerning specs-wearer’s wardrobe.”
Commenting on the latest designs from Gok Wan, Specsavers Mullingar store director David J McCloskey and Specsavers Athlone store director Keith McCallion said: “We’re really excited about the new range as his original range caused a bit of style stir with the younger fashion set, as well as among people who bought them as a reminder of the great specs they wore when they were teens. These new styles are going to have even wider appeal so there is something here for everyone.”
The new GW by Gok Wan range, including the 13 new styles, are available exclusively at all 42 Specsavers stores across Ireland for €149, including single vision Pentax lenses and scratch resistant treatment. GW by Gok Wan is also part of Specsavers’ current two for one offer.
