The 2012 national semi-finals of the Macra Na Feirme amateur drama finals take place on March 31 and April 1 at Roscommon Arts Centre. Hosted by the Roscommon Executive, six clubs from counties Roscommon, Sligo, Galway, Donegal, and Leitrim will compete for two places in the national finals taking place in April in Laois. Each evening, a total of three one-act plays will be performed by three separate groups, with the overall winners being announced after the performances on Sunday night.

Saturday March 31: On the Outside - Galway City Macra; A Bedtime Story - Coolaney Macra, Sligo; and One More for the Road - North Donegal Macra.
Sunday, April 1: Dopey Dan - Sligo Rainbow Macra; A Cure for Nerves - South Leitrim Macra; and The Last of the Last of the Mohicans - Tarmonbarry Macra, Roscommon.
Roscommon Macra Clubs have a strong presence in this one-act play competition with national success from Tarmonbarry and Knockcroghery in 2005 and 2006. Two excellent nights of entertainment are in store, with the results announced on Sunday night.
