Vote for Buccs Minis in EBS awards

The Minis section of Buccaneers Rugby Football Club has been short-listed as one of just 23 groups from all around the country for the EBS National Community Fund 2012 awards. As a result, the underage arm of the club has been presented with €500 by Sheila Martin, manager, EBS, Athlone as the local winner.

Now Buccs Minis are in with a chance of winning the overall national award of a massive €10,000. And to do this, they need your votes! The group or organisation getting most votes by March 6 wins this super award, a prize that the young Buccaneers players and their mentors could really do with. With up to 400 youngsters training and playing regularly at Dubarry Park, it costs a mint to provide the necessary kit and facilities. So the €10,000 would certainly be put to good use for these players who are the future of the club.

Log on to www.ebs.ie and go to the section relating to the EBS National Community Fund 2012 and vote for Buccaneers Minis. Every vote counts so get your family, friends, workmates, and anyone else you can to vote on their computer, laptop, or smartphone as soon as possible.
