Renault will update the Scénic and Grand Scénic models in the spring.
The newly facelifted versions of Europe’s number one compact MPV will feature a sharper design, be more economical and boast a number of equipment enhancements.
Both versions of Scénic feature a revised look with more contemporary front styling. New bumpers, lights, grille, plus LED daytime running lamps are the real visible changes.
And under the skin, the many changes include the introduction of two new efficient engines with stop & start brake energy regeneration. These include an efficient 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a reworked version of the 1.5 dCi diesel and the 1.6-litre diesel.
The two new Scénics each play an important part in achieving Renault’s target to become Europe’s number one manufacturer with regard to the CO2 emissions of its range, without detracting from performance.
Scénic and Grand Scénic will also be the first models to feature the Visio System by Renault which assists the driver’s vigilance and night-time vision thanks to two key functions. This latest innovation by the French brand combines a lane departure warning system and an automatic high/low beam headlight function.
The new Scenic range will be available in March or early April.
