Roscommon’s premier wedding venue, the Abbey Hotel, had a record turnout for its eagerly anticipated wedding fair on Sunday afternoon last. The early spring sunshine brought record numbers to the venue for one of its most successful wedding fair turnouts in recent years. There were over 30 exhibitors in attendance representing all aspects of planning your special day. A wide selection of car hire, bridal and bridegroom, photographers, DJs, beauticians, hair salons, hat designers, cake, stationery, travel agents, favours, and florists were represented.
Compliments must be paid to all the exhibiting stand holders for the professional and high standard of each display.
Members of the Grealy family and staff were available all afternoon to handle the steady flow of wedding enquiries. “We were delighted to welcome all our 2012/13 brides and grooms; however it was most encouraging to see so many new faces from the Longford, Roscommon, Leitrim, and Westmeath areas coming to the wedding fair to sample what we have to offer here,” said Tom Grealy junior.
“It is our aim here at the Abbey Hotel to provide a unique service to each wedding couple and we hope that each bride and groom and their respective families and friends will take away many happy memories of their special day with us.”
Anne Marie Fitzgerald, manager at Abbey Health and Fitness had a huge response to her special offer on the day with a tailored fitness package designed for all brides who want to look their best on the special day.
“The Abbey Hotel have an unsurpassed reputation of providing a top quality wedding service, and as they enter their 50th year it is hoped that the tradition of providing a four star service will continue for many years to come,” added Mr Grealy.
