Gift card specialist One4all has kicked off its 2011 charity Christmas Jumper Day campaign. This year, One4all is calling on the people of Westmeath to don a festive jumper and be in with a chance to win €5,000 for their charity of choice.
A host of charities including Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Concern, Barnardos, Soul of Haiti, The Irish Cancer Society, and many more have registered to participate in this year’s fundraising drive. To help people and charities get involved, One4all has developed a dedicated website, Christmasjumperday.com, as a hub of information for ideas and tools to organise a Christmas Jumper charity event. The website also features tips and tricks for making fun, festive jumpers, an event guide, and much more.
One4all Christmas Jumper Day campaign will run from now until Monday, December 19. Participants who upload a photo of themselves, friends, family, or pets wearing Christmas Jumpers to the One4all Ireland Facebook page will be in with a chance of winning a daily prize of a €50 One4all Gift Card. Each daily winner will then automatically be entered into the final draw to win €5,000 for their charity of choice.
Speaking at the launch Michael Dawson, group CEO at One4all, said, “This year Christmas Jumper Day is open to all charities. The initiative is a fun and festive way to raise money for the charity that is closest to your heart.
“Last year we received fantastic entries of people wearing funky Christmas jumpers, homemade jumpers, and Christmas cardigans from all over Ireland. This year we are looking forward to seeing even more entries and crowning the 2011 One4all Christmas Jumper Day winner on Friday December 23.”
