Is it raining again and your mood is getting low? Are you looking for something to brighten up your day? Try Zumba with Vanessa!
Zumba is fun, social, and healthy, and it is all done to great music. And here is your opportunity to try it this week: Vanessa is teaching a free introductory Zumba class on Monday November 7 in Athlone and on Wednesday November 9 in Mullingar. Everyone is welcome! Come early, classes will start at 7pm exactly.
Vanessa, from RnM Dance, is known throughout the Midlands for delivering adult salsa classes and in-school hip-hop courses for kids, and has brought the latest Zumba phenomenon to Athlone, Mullingar, and Kinnegad. The Latin-inspired dance-fitness class uses international music and dance steps to create an exciting and effective fitness system.
Vanessa’s Zumba Fitness classes incorporate basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training with easy to follow cardio-based dance movements. Body sculpting and toning are Zumba’s speciality; it works the buttocks, legs, hips, tummy, and arms.
After the success of the course last year, Vanessa is back to continue spreading the Zumba craze. Also this year, schools will get the opportunity to avail of Zumbatomics classes with Vanessa. The younger brother of Zumba, with its energetic rhythm, it will get kids dancing, grooving, and having a blast!
Zumba is exercise in disguise; you’ll be having so much fun you won’t realise you’ve been exercising for an hour. Zumba is designed to be easy to follow, so don’t worry if you can’t dance.
Classes take place every week in Athlone Gaelscoil hall on Mondays at 7.30pm, and in the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm. Registration is from 7pm.
