Just a few miles off the M6 motorway, The Green Village Music & Arts Festival is set in the remarkable parkland of Mount Druid in the village of Castletown Geoghegan, Co Westmeath.
The Green Village Festival which is on this weekend, Saturday September 24, will celebrate the best of Irish community with a one-day programme of contemporary and traditional music, old time dance, poetry and literature, as well as children’s events.
The Green Village Festival will bring together local communities in a spirit of co-operation to work towards social and economic regeneration of the area and enable groups to show their work to the wider population.
Over 40 different acts will performon six unique stages, five of which are indoor.
Ticket prices: €35 single adult, €25 student, €20 OAP, and €89 for a family ticket including two adults and two teens.
Children under 12 go free, aand there is also no charge for camping or campervans. Gates open at noon on Saturday September 24.
