Guinness Live will take place from Thursday September 22 until Sunday September 25 and will feature an extensive line-up of national and local acts in a series of intimate gigs in venues and pubs throughout the city’s Latin Quarter, with 50 live performances over four nights. Admission to all gigs is free and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guinness Live is a four day festival, which incorporates Arthur’s Day and the Oyster Festival and looks set to be a great weekend for the city of Galway with some of the finest original talent in Ireland ranging from high profile acts such as Republic of Loose, Duke Special, Whipping Boy, Jerry Fish, Tucan, and Noelie Mc Donnell to some of the most exciting new sounds around including The Riptide Movement, The Original Rudeboys, The Debutantes, and The Temporary. The event features many of Galway’s finest bands playing a wide range of popular, rock, and traditional music.

DJs performing at the festival include Paul McLoone who goes head to head with Today FM colleague Tony Fenton, and honorary Irishman Paul Gallagher who travels to Galway fresh from his success as Official DJ to the acclaimed Beady Eye Tour.
