Businesses from all over Westmeath and Offaly are invited to participate at a business-to-business networking event in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday September 15.
Following on from the success of last year’s event, Westmeath and Offaly County Enterprise Boards are organising the event again this year in conjunction with Athlone, Tullamore & District, Mullingar, and the Midlands Gateway Chambers.
Any business involved in supplying goods and services to other businesses should not miss this opportunity to meet potential new customers. The event is designed as a fast and informative way to make new business contacts and broaden your business network.
Speaking at the launch of the event, business advisor with Westmeath County Enterprise Board, Tracey Tallon, explained that 87 per cent of businesses use word of mouth as their main marketing tool.
“This year we want to motivate people to use referral networking as a long-term tool to build business relationships. Word-of-mouth marketing is the most cost-effective way to grow your business.”
At last year’s event, over 80 small business owners from all over the Midlands came together to network and this year the event promises to be even bigger and better, with Paul Laird from the Referral Institute, who has facilitated networking events including George Lee’s Business Show on RTE.
Paul, who is based in Westmeath, will present top motiviational networking tips and facilitate the event to allow as many introductions as possible.
The event will be held in the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar from 9.30am-12.45pm, with registration at 8.45am. The booking fee is just €20 per person.
