Westmeath’s u16 hurlers retained their All-Ireland ’B’ title after edging out neighbours in the decider. The blitz-style competition was held in memory of the late great Adrian Murray whose daughter Susan fittingly was team co-ordinator for the victors. The Lakelanders held a two-point half-time lead but took a firmer grip on proceedings after the break to run out 0-7 to 0-2 winners. Well done to all concerned.
