Magical spectacle at Tullynally Castle
This isn’t a once-upon-a-time story. This is a happening right now story. Follow Fidget Feet’s A Fairies Tail as the audience are taken on a journey through the mystical gardens of Tullynally Castle, Castlepollard to discover the story of Buglite, the only fairy left that hasn’t become a character in a computer game.
A Fairies Tail is a promenade theatrical circus performance piece. The audience follows the show as it moves about the Tullynally Castle Gardens. Don’t miss this amazing outdoor spectacle, running as part of the National Heritage Week. With a mixture of performances and workshop, this is the perfect family day out or birthday party event.
A Fairies Tail is a site-specific show that can be tailored to suit your event. Fidget Feet also offer children’s circus workshops that run in conjunction with the main performance where individuals, families, or groups can come along to learn aerial circus.
Performances take place on Saturday August 27 at 1pm and 6pm, and on Sunday August 28 at 1pm. Prices are €6 per child, €10 per adult, or €26 for a family of four.
Workshops
Have you ever wanted to fly? Why not book into the one of the circus aerial workshops, suitable for anyone over eight years old. Hammock-like cocoons will be rigged in the trees of Tullynally Castle Gardens where you will learn to hang, swing, fly, and twist in fabric.
Saturday and Sunday 2.30pm and 4.30pm. €6 per child.
