Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael is running two coaching workshops in November. The workshops are entitled, ‘Coaching the Tackle’ and ‘Let’s Get Started’ (a nursery/fundamental workshop ).
The 'Coaching the Tackle' workshop is up first and will run on November 18 at 7pm in St Loman’s GAC Hall, Mullingar.
This workshop will show participants how to coach tackling skills in a fun and safe environment.
The second workshop is 'Let's Get Started' which will also be held in St Loman’s GAC Hall, Mullingar and will run on November 25 at 7pm.
This workshop will show coaches what to coach to young players from four to nine years, and will also include the GAA nursery book called Ready To Play with each participant receiving a free copy of this excellent coaching aid.
The workshops cost €10 and places are limited, so will be filled on a first-come basis. For an application form for the workshops contact Ger Gribben - Camogie RDO on (087 ) 2733847 or your nearest camogie club secretary.
The workshops are open to any camogie/hurling coaches, parents, players, and teachers as long as they are over 16 years of age.
