The summer has finally arrived and the focus on summer camps is well and truly on. The popular television series Glee has inspired and caught the imagination of many! Never before have singing, dancing, and acting been seen as such inclusive activities, rather than an exclusive activity for those with experience and talent. Now the Glee experience is coming to Ballinasloe this summer for ages seven to 18.
Glee Club Summer Camps specialise in dancing, acting, and singing all wrapped up in a fun packed week. Every day from 10am to 2pm kids take part in a variety of activities aimed at improving their talents. Thomas Creighton, choreographer and producer with Glee Summer Camps said, “Our biggest success last year, was not in the amount of people we attracted to our camps, not in the fact that RTE decided to include their very own version in one of their children's programmes. No our biggest success was how we managed to include children with different abilities, and from a wide range of different family backgrounds into one activity, which they all loved. Glee Summer Camps actively try to encourage this ethos of inclusivity in our camps. We believe that summer camps should be about giving things a go as well as doing activities that you love.”
Glee Summer Camp comes to Ballinasloe from July 25-29. The camp costs €75 per person with family discounts available.
