Could Kinnegad’s George be the face of Tesco?

Tesco Kinnegad staff member, George Papageorgiou, has made it to the nationwide semi-final of the Face of Tesco staff modelling competition, which aims to find three staff members to model in the company’s autumn/winter clothing PR campaign in Ireland this year.

Tesco is seeking to find one male, one female and one plus size male/female to model in the campaign.

George Papageorgiou was chosen as one of 14 semi-finalists from hundreds of entries from Tesco stores nationwide by an expert panel of judges including model agency boss Rebecca Morgan, fashion editor Bairbre Power, and TV fashion expert Darren Kennedy.

Tesco staff members will now take part in a text vote to choose their top six from the semi-final 14 who will proceed to take part in the grand final in June to become the Face of Tesco.

The overall prize winners will receive a prize chest including taking part in a professional photo shoot for the autumn/winter clothing launch, a €250 Tesco wardrobe, a style consultation, professional hair and make-up consultations, and much more.

Winners will be announced in June.
