Census enumerators are currently completing their visits to households nationwide to collect completed Census forms. If your Census form has not been collected, you should post it back free of charge to the CSO.
Completed forms should be placed in a sealed A4 envelope and returned to the Central Statistics Office, PO Box 2011, Freepost 4726, Swords, Co Dublin.
Deirdre Cullen, senior statistician at the CSO said, “Enumerators will finish collections on May 9. If your enumerator has not collected the form by this date, please return the form to us as soon as possible by posting it back free of charge. Any forms returned to us by post will be treated with the same confidentiality as those collected by enumerators.”
If you have any questions you can contact the CSO on LoCall 1890 20 11 11.
“We hope to begin processing the data as soon as possible so it is crucial that all Census forms are returned to us immediately. Preliminary results from Census 2011 will be available by the end of June and the first full results will be published within a year,” added Deirdre Cullen.
