Fred Kilmartin, Ballinasloe will host a Ford Super Sunday on May 15 from 2pm - 5pm to celebrate the launch of the new Ford Focus at their showroom.
Ford Super Sunday will offer a range of activities catering for all ages. There will be an opportunity to test your driving skills, with Ford Motor Company Smart Technologies on display, including active park assist, start stop technology, driver alert, and active city stop that will automatically bring the car to a halt in the event of a low speed collision.
Those who find parking a little tricky can try out active park assist which uses sensors both sides of the street for a suitable parking space spot with the driver only needing to operate the clutch, brake, and accelerator. With driver alert, a car can sense when you are tired.
There will be music, a bouncing castle, face painting, art and other competitions, and numerous spot prizes throughout the day.
The all new Ford Focus looks set to build on its unparalleled popularity, not least with its striking looks, a whole host of exciting new features and a highly efficient engine line up that makes every drop of fuel go further. The Focus range comprises of four series from the entry level Focus, Edge, and Zetec to the top of the range Titanium. The car is available as a sporty five-door hatchback, sleek four-door saloon, or stylish five-door estate. Engines include an ultra-low CO2 1.6 and 2.0 litre TDCi diesel, as well as a thrifty new 1.6 EcoBoost turbocharged petrol.
