Local Heroes is a new and exciting endeavour to bring local talent back to the forefront, giving a stage to musicians in order for them to showcase their talents.
Hosted by the Palace Bar, Athlone, the event will see 10 bands take to two stages, with an amazing sound set-up in order to unite music lovers, managers, students, promoters, and bands under one roof for a great night of entertainment.
The first Local Heros night will take place tonight, Friday April 29 in the Palace Bar, Athlone. There will be no judging and no gimmicks, this is truly an event for music lovers.
The first 10 acts for the night are: Traitor, JP13, Tad n Klint, Joe O’Donoghue, The 48 Hour Project, Seven Ways to Sunday, Life after Monologue, Resin Effect, SkyBoy, and Dummy Animation.
Doors open at 8.30pm and admission at the door is €8.
