Moate Culture even is looking for your help!

Moate will host its own culture day and night this September in conjunction with Westmeath and National Culture Night and they are looking for you to help!

Do you, your friends, colleagues, or organisation have an idea for an event? Would you like to showcase a unique venue? Or share some ideas with creative people? An informal meeting will be held in Terry Coughlan’s bar, Moate on Tuesday April 19 at 8pm for anyone looking to get involved with Moate Culture Day and Night which will be held on September 23.

There are only five weeks left until the deadline for submissions to the Arts Office of Westmeath County Council for inclusion in this year’s county brochure and the event will follow a similar format to last year’s.

Types of events to be held in Moate during the culture day and night will be discussed at next week’s meeting, with all proposals up for discussion!

Interesting, unusual, and quirky events and venues are welcome. It’s up to the community to source venues and arrange details of time and content for the event. Seeds of ideas will be developed with the support of everyone!
