Citroen’s stylish new C4 has just gone on sale with prices starting from just €18,990. For that, you get one of the most spacious, comfortable and well-equipped models in its class.
Citroen tells us of a new C4 launch finance offer of 4 per cent APR finance over three years with 30 per cent deposit.
Citroen told the Advertiser that with distinctive styling, and a range of convenient, innovative technologies, the new C4 is designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding mid-size five-door hatchback retail and business customers.
The car’s compact external dimensions conceal generous internal volumes with what must be a class-leading 408-litre boot and spacious room for all occupants. A high quality finish with customisable comfort and the availability of new features, such as a Denon HiFi, and massaging front seats, complete the upmarket offering.
The new C4 is available in three generously specified trim levels, the VTR, VTR+, and Exclusive. There are three HDi diesel engines with five-or six-speed manual gearbox and a fuel saving six-speed EGS, plus two BMW co-developed petrol units with a five-speed manual gearbox.
All models are fuel and CO2 efficient – with up to 67.3mpg economy quoted by Citroen and emissions as low as 109g/km on e-HDi versions, making the new C4 one of the most ecologically conscious models in the segment. And thanks to the car’s low emissions, the diesel engines start from Band A for low VRT and road tax.
The new C4 carries the maximum five-star Euro NCAP rating, including a 97 per cent score in the Safety Assist category. That’s the highest score for any vehicle of its type.
New C4 prices run from €18,990 to €25,740 for the range-topping e-HDi 110 Exclusive.
