In addition to the arrival of the all-new A1 and the updated A7 now being available, Audi announce some enhancements to many models including a sports package available on A3, A4, and TT for a limited period.
It has also added a more efficient TDI engine in Q5 and Q7.
There's a new entry level versions of the A5 Sportback - the 2.0 TDI 143 manual version is priced at €39,860 OTR.
Also, run-out versions of the current A6 come with complimentary additional specification.
Two more efficient 2.0TDI versions with 143 and 170 bhp outputs are added to the Q5 range. Like its smaller sibling Q5, the Q7 gets two new lower emission EU5 diesel versions. Available with 204 and 240 bhp, both versions use Audi’s new eight speed Tiptronic gearbox first offered in the new A8.
The World Performance Car of the Year has also been updated with new EU5 engines. The R8 Coupe and Spyder V8 and V10 versions are now EU5 compliant. The V8 4.2 FSI which has also just been added to the R8 Spyder offer receives a power increase of 10 bhp bringing it up to 430 bhp. Pricing for this new addition to the R8 range begins at a whopping €174,370 OTR.
Five star Audi A1 in Euro NCAP crash tests
Euro NCAP has awarded the Audi A1 hatchback (pictured ) five stars after performing their crash tests. The results for adult protection in a frontal, rear, or side collision, as well as for child safety and pedestrian protection, place the new Audi A1 among the safest vehicles in its category.
Euro NCAP’s demanding test requirements far exceed the standards of European lawmakers. Established in 1997, the Euro NCAP consortium performs crash tests with all vehicles on the European market. Its mission is to systematically improve road safety and thus help protect the lives of all road users.
