So here’s the idea: Join the Facebook group So Last Year; you pick your top five songs of 2010 and post them on the discussion board. It doesn't have to be in order, but can be. There’s plenty to pick from, so the problem might be keeping it to five. Obviously they can be of any genre, just the tunes that blew you away at one time or another this year! There’s so much music out there that it’s impossible to filter through it all so depending on the responses, everyone should pick up on something they missed this year.
And so to part two. If you want to, and you’re in Mullingar on St Stephen’s night, you can play your five choices in The Stables. Everyone will get 15 minutes. You can bring your iPod, your phone, CDs, or vinyl. Everything will be set up and ready to rock. If you want to play just email [email protected]. There’ll only be enough time for 12 people so if they end up with more requests then it’ll be time to get the hat out. Last year’s event was a huge success so expect more of the same this year.
