For anyone out there who’s not too keen on spending New Year’s Eve in a crowded pub or niteclub, but still wants to enjoy the bank holiday weekend, why not attend the South Westmeath Hunt ball.
The black tie ball takes place on Saturday January 1, 2011 in the newly refurbished Glasson Hotel and Golf Club.
The evening begins at 7pm with a mulled wine reception and is followed by a four course meal. Music on the night is by Upper Limits, followed by a DJ. There will also be spot prizes on the night.
The hunt ball is for everyone, not just hunt enthusiasts. It promises to be a great night and Glasson Hotel has offered a special overnight rate of €49 B&B per person. Tickets for the ball are priced at €50.
