Motorpark are delighted to announce their opening of a new Ford sales and aftersales facility at Monksland, Athlone.
Motorpark have acquired the premises and staff of Athlone Nissan and Fiat and look forward to serving the existing Nissan and Fiat customers as well as all Ford customers in Roscommon, Westmeath, and the Midlands area. Motorpark are delighted that directors, Tom and Noel, will remain supporting all their customers and welcoming them to the new Motorpark facility.
Higgins Motorpark are Ireland’s oldest and longest serving Ford dealership, in operation since 1913. Since the closure of the Casey Group in Athlone and Roscommon, many Ford drivers have been left with few options and were forced to travel for necessary warranty and servicing work on their vehicles. The Motorpark group can now offer Ford drivers three convenient locations in Athlone, head office in Galway, or Henderson Motorpark Sligo. Ford drivers can look forward to the same excellent sales and aftersales care and attention in each of its locations.
Motorpark acquired Henderson Motors, Sligo in October 2008 following on from the Casey Group closure. The company is now successfully trading as Henderson Motorpark.
The new Ford facility will provide a full range of Ford aftersales services, including manufacturers warranty and repair work on Ford vehicles, Ford servicing, and Ford parts.
To welcome the new Ford appointment to Athlone, the Ford GT will take residence in the Motorpark Athlone showrooms. The red Ford GT is guaranteed to generate much interest in Athlone. It is one of only four GTs in Ireland. Everyone is welcome to call into the Motorpark Athlone showrooms to see the new display.
