The Disconnected Bliss kick start their December tour with a hugely anticipated show in The Palace Bar, Athlone tonight, Friday December 3.
The Athlone-based power-trio consisting of Eddie Carroll, Ian Munt, and Bobby Hewitt are quickly becoming one of the town’s most exciting new bands with their mix of retro covers and catchy originals.
“We have been very busy since our first gig last August,” explained Ian, the band’s bass player, “We have been writing some new songs as well as rehearsing covers from some of our favourite bands and artists like Kings of Leon, David Bowie, and Muse just to mention a few.”
The lads are looking forward to hitting the stage on Friday so be sure to make your way to the Palace Bar and start your festive season off on the right foot.
