Mullingar Choral Society and the Mullingar Town Band have combined forces this year to bring audiences a special Christmas Festival. The night of song and music takes place on Sunday December 12 in St. Paul’s Church, Delvin Road, Mullingar starting at 7pm.
This concert has grown in popularity over the years and appeals to all ages, from the young to the mature music lover, so much so that family tickets are a feature of every year’s concert. The programme for the night is selected very carefully to cater for all tastes and a feast of music is promised.
Ticket for the Christmas Festival convert are available from members of Mullingar Choral Society and will also be available at the door on the night. There is no limit to the number of family members who can use a family ticket. Tickets cost €7.50 per person or €20 for a family.
Mullingar Choral Society is under the direction of Fergus O’Carroll, musical director and Gavin Maloney, assistant musical director.
Mullingar Town Band is under the direction of Hubert Magee, band director and Harry Kelly, concert band conductor.
