Passionfruit Theatre Co is a voluntary organisation which is committed to its work in building close links with the community.
This year Passionfruit Theatre Co will again hold a free concert for senior citizens. The aim of this event is to celebrate the contribution older people have made and continue to make to our community.
The concert will involve pupils from the Marist College, led by John Tiernan, and pupils from Our Lady’s Bower, led by Hilary Price, singing Christmas carols and a variety of other songs.
Passionfruit Theatre would like to extend a sincere thank you to both teachers and pupils for their hard work and involvement in this project. They also thank their co-ordinator, Annemarie Hynes, for her ongoing dedication.
“We thank you all for your help and support this year. A sincere thank you to our sponsors. We could not continue our voluntary work within the community without them,” said Fiona Ducke.
The concert takes place on Wednesday December 15 from 8pm to 9pm in Passionfruit Theatre, 9 Northgate Street, Athlone. Admission is free. Spot prizes and refreshments will be available. For bookings phone (086 ) 333 8457
