Westmeath County Enterprise Board celebrates women in business

Terry Prone to share communication tips with Westmeath Women in Business

Westmeath County Enterprise Board (WCEB ) has two planned seminars in November and December to celebrate the success of Women in Business.

WCEB is hosting a women in business networking lunch with Terry Prone entitled Communicating Your Business Message. Terry Prone will share her own personal background and business experiences along with providing attendees with some tips and actions for 2011 on communicating your business message in the difficult economic environment.

The seminar, the third of the 2010 series of women in business network meetings, is taking place on Thursday December 2 in the Mullingar Park Hotel. The event commences at 11.30am with registration and includes speed networking and a working lunch. The event fee is €10. Bookings can be made online at www.westmeath-enterprise.ie

Friday November 19 is National Women’s Enterprise Day and the County and City Enterprise Boards, including the Westmeath County Enterprise Board are hosting a major conference, networking and enterprise support exhibition in Limerick that day to highlight the contribution of women in business across Ireland.

Speaking ahead of both exciting events, the CEO of Westmeath County Enterprise Board, Christine Charlton, said,”On National Women’s Enterprise Day, female entrepreneurs will access information, advice, and mentoring from experienced business people, the County and City Enterprise Boards and other state support agencies. At a local level, we support hundreds of female entrepreneurs every year who are already in business or thinking of starting one up, so we’re encouraging as many local entrepreneurs as possible to make the trip to Limerick on November 19 and to come to the Mullingar Park on December 2 to hear Terry Prone’s motivational lifestory.”
