‘Glamour in Galway’, the first all day beauty, fashion, pampering, and styling event to hit the west will be held on Sunday November 14 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway. The event will be hosted by style guru and presenter of RTÉ’s Off the Rails Brendan Courtney. Brendan will be joined by celebrity makeup artist Derrick Carberry and world champion hair stylist, Mary Kennedy. The trio will be carrying out makeovers and offering professional advice to guests throughout the day.
The event, which will run from 11am to 7pm, will offer women the chance to browse through scores of designer boutiques, enjoy catwalk shows, receive free treatments along with fantastic makeovers, and win unbelievable prizes. There will be 100 fashion and beauty exhibitors to choose from and great on-the-day offers to be had.
Event organiser Mandy Maher of the Catwalk Modelling Agency says, “Glamour in Galway is a concept that we have being toying with for a number of years as we feel that it is time that local fashionistas are offered their own glamorous day out on their own doorstep. The day will provide lots of fashion, beauty, and fun from some of Ireland’s top boutiques, hair stylists, and beauty masters along with the season’s top looks on the catwalk throughout the day. So grab your girlies and get ready to enjoy Glamour in Galway”.
As well as picking up the season’s top fashion tips, the event is perfect opportunity for some early Christmas shopping with some of the country’s leading clothing, jewellery, make-up, bag, and shoe boutiques along with spas, hotels, and more selling from their exhibition stands on the day.
