Launch of Wiccle

Galway based technology company Wiccle have become the first Irish company to fully develop an open source Content Management System (CMS ).

Designed with start-up companies in mind, the technology allows both developers and end users create and maintain websites without the need for technical knowledge of html, php, java and other coding.

The company has created two unique products: Wiccle Web Builder and iWiccle. Both are CMS and offer users a wealth of options to develop a fully functional website.

While there are already a number of CMS on the market, both free and paid for, the launch of the Wiccle products has revolutionized the way the products are used. All other CMS currently on the market rely on either the consumer having technical coding knowledge or else providing limited functionality for websites. Wiccle has over 30 individual modules including video, e-commerce, shopping carts, and forums putting the customer in complete control of their own website.

Wiccle Web Builder is by far the most easy-to-use Content Management System platform available, engineered from the ground up for maximum flexibility and performance across a wide range of web server setups. Already there have been a number of early adopters of the software including Forster Court Hotel in Galway, McCambridge’s, and Joyce’s Bookshop. For these clients, the software has already proven popular, allowing them to develop their sites to their full potential.

Speaking at the launch of Wiccle, CEO Keith Killilea said. “We are proud to have developed and launched this product in Ireland. Already the interest is phenomenal and we look forward to working with more SMEs and start-ups to help them achieve their online goals.”
