The Midlands branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD ) is pleased to announce details of their upcoming event, Rebuilding Trust in the Organisation. This event, which is co-supported by Vhi Healthcare and Elan Drug Technologies, will take place at the Elan plant in Monksland, Athlone at 6pm on Wednesday November 3.
The speakers on the evening will be Dr Finian Buckley (senior lecturer, Dublin City University ) and Doreen Gerety (chairperson, CIPD Midlands Committee ).
Dr Finian Buckley is a senior lecturer in Organisational Psychology and Director of the MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology at DCU Business School. An expert in learning and innovation, he has worked with a wide variety of national and international organisations on change and development programmes. Following on from Dr Buckley’s highly successful involvement in a CIPD Midlands event earlier this year, the upcoming event will take the format of a practical follow-up workshop. Dr Buckley will further explore the concept of trust in organisations, focusing on how trust is developed in organisations and how breaches of trust can be repaired in order for organisations to successfully move forward.
The event, which promises to be a very informative and engaging one, is open to all, and will be of particular interest to business managers, HR professionals and students during these challenging times.
