Just when you thought it was safe to venture out, former giveamanakick front man and founder Steve Ryan returns to the big bad world of record releases with a second album from his band windings, a new musical offering from one of Limerick’s most talented gents.
Following the release of two singles this year, the new album, It’s Never Night (produced by Tommy McLaughlin – Villagers/Cathy Davey ) is finally ready to be unleashed this October. The songs on the new album explode around your ears like a thousand packages of fizzy sherbet dip at the back of your throat, coaxing you with sweet lullabies, before thrashing you against the sound barrier, bringing you from pure cosy pop to dirty almost-metal in a delicious ten track nosebag of sound.
To celebrate the release of It's Never Night, windings are packing up their guitars and heading off on an Irish tour which hits The Stables, Mullingar on Friday October 29.
