Local band, The LOLs will receive their second Corporate Band of the Year Award at a Gala Function in The Helix Concert Hall, Dublin. The Irish Entertainment Awards will take place on Monday October 11 with a civic reception at 7pm for all the award winning artists.
This is a major achievement for The LOLs to receive back to back Corporate Band of The Year 2009 and 2010. The band’s very lively stage show and non-stop entertainment has given them this prestigious award.
Hosts and comperes for the evening will be RTÉ star Brian Ormond and top model Valerie Roe. So far artists who know they’ve won awards include: Foster and Allen, Paul Harrington, Lisa Stanley, Michael English, Mike Denver, The High Kings, and new sensations Crystal Swing.
Also on Monday October 11, the band will launch their new wedding brochure in association with Fashion Followers Boutique, Moate, Co Westmeath. The clothes will be modelled by model Pippa O’Connor who has recently just joined the Andrea Roche Modelling Agency. This brochure is a must for all wedding couples who are looking for an unforgettable wedding band and fashion for the special occasion.
