Emerging leaders sought for innovative programme

The Emerging Leaders Programme (ELP ) is a seven-day transformational programme aimed at providing managers and team leaders with practical skills they need to enhance their performance in their roles. The ELP is receiving part funding from the GMIT Innovation Skillnet, which is funded by member companies under the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd, funded through the Department of Education and Skills.

The ELP is delivered one day per week over seven weeks and comprises the following courses:

Communication mastery;

Mindset for empowered leadership;

Essential skills for effective leadership;

Building powerful teams;

Intelligent self and time management techniques;

Exceptional results through persuasive negotiation;

Coaching: Inspiring individuals/propelling organisations.

There are a maximum of 12 participants per programme and the cost per participant is €595 (including training materials, administration, venue, and catering costs ). This course is also recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management. The ELP provides the opportunity for companies to provide quality tailored training programmes to managers and team leaders with tools and techniques that can be implemented to immediately improve motivation, commitment, and performance in the workplace.
