Mullingar-born Helen McCauley joined the team at Bloomfield House Hotel in 2004, having previously owned her own beauty salon on Dominic Street in Mullingar since 2001.
Helen proved a welcome addition to what was then known as Zoi Spa, joining the hotel as spa manager. She immediately focused on the rebranding of the spa from Zoi to the now Bloomfield Spa & Laser Clinic.
Helen successfully introduced a new type of skincare rejuvenation technology called iPulse. It uses intense pulses of light to treat a range of skin conditions such as ageing and tired skin, open pores, fine lines and wrinkles, thread veins, rosacea, pigmentation, acne, and coarse skin texture.
Helen and her team of therapists received intensive training prior to the launch of iPulse, which also included iPulse Hair Removal, another aspect to this internationally popular technology. Helen offers an initial iPulse consultation and can prepare a personal treatment schedule to suit your needs.
Whilst keeping her finger on the pulse of new up and coming products to offer her clients, Helen introduced the world-renowned Germaine De Capuccini, a range of professional care product available to both men and women. This affordable product includes cosmetic microdermabrasion, oxygenating therapies, and the extremely popular Timexpert Lift.
When asked, Helen’s favourite Germaine De Cappuccini treatment is the Chocolate Indulgence Wrap, as seen on TV3, a to-die-for experience where your body is cocooned in a wrap of warm bubbling chocolate; “my absolute favourite before going out, as the chocolate chips turn my skin to velvet,” says Helen. A must for all the ladies!
The latest addition to Helen’s product list is the Dragons’ Den success Tan Organic, now available for both purchase and spray tan.
Helen’s background has always been in the beauty industry. Keeping it local, she graduated in Beauty and Electrolosis in 1998, having studied at Westmeath VEC in the Old School House in Kinnegad.
Now, mum of one Helen holds the fort at Bloomfield Spa & Laser Clinic at Bloomfield House Hotel, and is currently busy with preparation for her next Spa Open Day taking place on Thursday October 7 from 2 to 8pm. All are welcome.
