Westmeath Library Service is pleased to announce a visit by award winning Irish children’s author Derek Landy to Mullingar on Tuesday September 14 .
Derek will talk to children at 10.30am in Mullingar Arts Centre followed by signings of his new book which was launched recently. The reading is suitable for children aged 11-12, and due to high demand and the limited number of places available it may be necessary to restrict pupil numbers to one class per school.
Teachers interested in bringing their students to the reading should call Mullingar Library on (044 ) 9332161 if they wish to arrange a booking for this event, and early booking is advisable.
