On Friday last, the launch of Sheraton Athlone Hotel’s second Autumn Wedding Fair was shared with Joe Duffy’s Liveline Show. Broadcasting from Sheraton’s impressive lobby, hundreds of Joe Duffy fans turned up to enjoy a rousing line-up of comedy and singing talent. Liveline’s roadshow took on a more fun and entertaining format and it went down a storm with local Athlone attendees including Fianna Fail TD Mary O’Rourke who thoroughly enjoyed the show.
This year’s autumn wedding fair is in association with Athlone Towncentre and takes place on Sunday, September 12 from 2-6pm. Sheraton Athlone Hotel has undoubtedly established itself as Athlone’s success story with its stylish, sophisticated wedding offering. In 2010, wedding bookings to date are up 57 per cent versus the same period in 2009.
