Chartered Accountants Ireland brings range of courses to Mullingar

Advising clients on recovery mechanisms is the name of the game for many Chartered Accountants across Westmeath in the current turbulent economic climate.

Instead of counting the profit as was the case during the boom years, many accountancy and financial professionals across the county are now firmly focused on the task of counting the costs and rectifying the damage caused over the last number of years.

Raising the Bar: Latest Developments in Corporate Recovery and Examinership which takes place in Mullingar, Wednesday September 22, aims to arm those people working in the field with the relevant knowledge to advise clients how to beat the deep-rooted consequences of the recession.

Hosted by Chartered Accountants Ireland and presented by well-known expert Neil Hughes, this half-day course is geared toward accountants in Westmeath both in practice and business and insolvency practitioners in an effort to update delegates on the latest developments in the practice of Ireland’s formal corporate recovery process: Examinership.

This is just one of three courses Chartered Accountants Ireland will run in Mullingar during the month of September.

IFRS for SMEs: The Core Issues will take place on Tuesday September 7.

Meanwhile, Tax Planning Workshop, which also takes place on Wednesday September 22, will be very beneficial in the build-up to the busy tax season.

Places are limited so interested parties are advised to book early.
